• 500 g skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100ml honey
  • 100ml soy sauce
  • 2.5ml sesame oil
  • 50ml sesame seeds
  • spring onion to garnish


  1. Chop the chicken breasts into bite size pieces
  2. Heat up the olive oil in a frying pan and add the chicken
  3. Cook the chicken until golden brown
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, honey and sesame oil and cook for another 5 minutes (or until chicken is cooked through)
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and coat in sesame seeds, set aside and keep warm
  6. Let the honey, soy and sesame oil sauce simmer. Once the sauce has started caramelising remove from heat
  7. Place the chicken in individual Chinese soup spoons, pour sauce over the chicken. Garnish with spring onion
